After 4 years, Will Leather Goods shutters in Hayes ValleyPhoto: Natalie D./Hoodline Tipline

Hoodline tipster Natalie D. alerted us that another small business has shut down on Hayes Street. This time, it's Will Leather Goods, which has closed its doors at 568 Hayes St. (and Laguna) after four years in business

"We're officially closed! We love you SF! Farewell!" a sign posted on the window reads. A second note thanks neighbors, adding that the shop "appreciated getting to know you."

Will sells leather goods for both men and women, including crossbody bags, handbags, wallets, backpacks or duffle bags.

Founded by William Adler in 2004, it opened its flagship store in Venice, California in 2012, expanding to outposts in Eugene, Portland, Houston and Austin. In 2015, it took over the former Zonal location in Hayes Valley.

The closure means saying goodbye to "Moochelle," the cow statue in the shop's entryway. But according to the window sign, San Francisco customers will still be able to purchase Will's products online with free shipping and free conditioning services.
