Located atop a new luxury apartment complex, The View at Shires Garden's relaxed setting is inspired by an amusement resort that once stood at its site.
The indoor/outdoor venue offers sweeping views of today's skyline from a 2,000 square foot patio. Its eclectic menu includes the Porkopolis (a nod to the city's origins as a pork-processing center) that includes smoked pulled pork shoulder with herbed panko, served over mustard greens, carrots, artichokes, piquillo peppers and chimichurri.
With a four-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival has made a promising start.
