Menu items range from tacos and tostadas to tlayudas. Enjoy a torta that is hot-pressed with queso Oaxaca, black beans, lettuce, tomato, rajas, avocado and chipotle mayo, or beef tongue tostadas with crispy corn tortillas with pickled cabbage and avocado.
With a 3.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Mazunte Centro has gotten a good response.
Roth M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 2 wrote, “The decor was modern [and there was] lots of cool 'street art' that was painted directly on the walls in different styles. I'd definitely go back, based on my first impression.”
And Karen D. wrote, "The kitchen is open, so you can see their delicious food made right in front of you. I selected a chorizo con papas and lengua tostadas. I love the blue corn, house-made and all of the sauces are amazing [and] so flavorful. "
