While I may hide or even hiss at first in a new environment with humans I don't know, don't let my tough-girl act fool you. It doesn't take long before I am chirping, purring and rubbing up against you for affection. You may notice that my right eye is damaged. This is an old injury, and since it doesn't seem to bother me, the vets do not believe any treatment is necessary. Please give this diamond-in-the-rough a chance, and I'll be forever grateful.

Lucky for me, I was rescued by a good Samaritan. I was a little under-socialized, so my foster family has been working with me on those skills. Siblings Salvo are Baci are an adorable male domestic longhair (left) and domestic shorthair mix, at Animal Aware.

They've been vaccinated and neutered.

Salvo and Baci's caretakers say:

These two brothers were adopted together as kittens in 2013. Due to severe health issues in the family, those owners made the incredibly difficult and heartbreaking decision to re-home their beloved cats. Baci (shorthair, beauty mark on face) likes everybody. He will put his hand out and grab your hand and place it on his head. He also stands on his back legs and begs to have his head petted. Salvo (longhair) is a bit more reserved, but once he knows somebody, he is very affectionate. One of his favorite things to do is to fall onto the floor on his back to get his tummy rubbed. We are looking to re-home these handsome boys together.
