Caleb is a male coonhound puppy being kept at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.

Notes from Caleb's caretakers:

Caleb came to rescue from a shelter in Northern Tennessee. He had been dumped there basically due to "failure to thrive." An X-ray revealed that he had a diaphragmatic Hernia: A hole in his diaphragm, and most of his abdominal organs were up in his chest cavity. His intestines were wrapped around his heart. We took him and operated on him. It was a very tricky surgery. Caleb's heart stopped beating twice while he was on the table. Well, angels were watching over him that day, and he has made a complete recovery and is now a typical puppy and loves to play, snuggle, nap romp, eat and have the time of his life. He has grown and gained a ton of weight, and now weighs close to 40 pounds.

Tootsie is a sweet female chihuahua puppy being kept at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.

Tootsie will get along great with children, cats or dogs. She has been vaccinated.

Tootsie's current caretakers say:

Tootsie is one of the affectionately named puppies that were born into rescue when it was discovered that their mama was pregnant coming out of a hoarding case. They’ve been raised in a wonderful foster home surrounded by other dogs, kids and lots of loving family. They are happy, healthy and sweet little pups! Mom is likely a Chihuahua mix and daddy may have had some Dachshund in him.

Rugrats is a sweet male mixed breed puppy staying at Alpha Omega Animal Rescue.

Rugrats is friendly as can be — he's happy to keep company with other dogs, cats and kids. His vaccinations are up to date.

Rugrats' current caretakers say:

Rugrats is what they call us! Me and my five siblings have just gotten into this rescue. We miss our mom and are very unsure why she is not with us. But our foster mom says everything is going to be just fine and soowe will all find families of our own.

This cutie is smart, snuggly and sweet. Capree is about 4 months old, she is making amazing progress with potty training and is almost there. I’ve never been able to teach a puppy anything but sit, but this girl knows down. She is vetted and ready to go anywhere BFDR goes and is currently being fostered in Nashville!
