A 29-year old man is in life-threatening condition after being stabbed yesterday morning in the Tenderloin.

Police say the victim was involved in a fight with another man, 23, near the intersection of Leavenworth and Turk streets around 10:20 a.m. 

During the fight, the suspect stabbed the victim in the back with a knife, causing life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was arrested on the scene, and the victim was taken to the hospital for his wounds.
