New Chinese spot YH-Beijing debuts in the Western AdditionPhoto: Aselya A./Yelp

If you have Chinese food on your mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. Located at 500 Haight St. in the Western Addition, the fresh arrival is called YH-Beijing.

As we reported, YH-Beijing, previously named Wonderland Restaurant, offers a full menu of authentic dumplings, dim sum, noodle dishes and more. Check out the xiaolongbao filled with crab roe or pork and truffles; the Hong Kong–style crispy noodles; or chef's specials like the Chongqing chili chicken and the braised oxtail stew.

YH-Beijing has already attracted fans thus far, with a four-star rating out of 22 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Charlie G., who reviewed the new spot on Nov. 12, wrote, "The menu has also been updated. While there are appetizers and entrées from the old menu, several have been tweaked, and the new focus is on Beijing-style dishes and dim sum."

And Sarah S. added, "I think the dim sum is probably where this menu shines. We only tried the pork xiao long bao, but they were really flavorful and had plenty of soup inside."

Head on over to check it out: YH-Beijing is open for lunch from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. and for dinner from 4:30–9:30 p.m. on weekdays. On weekends, it's open from 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m.
