He is a smart cookie who will thrive with the challenge of puppy classes and has already mastered sleeping peacefully all the way through the night in his crate. He can be good with kids if they are gentle, respect his space, and allow him to greet the first.

Diego is a male Belgian shepherd mix being cared for at Silicon Valley Pet Project.

Diego likes to socialize — he'll get along great with other dogs. Diego is already neutered.

Notes from Diego's caretakers:

One fun big puppy! If beanie baby made a 30 pound floppy puppy, Diego would be their model. At about six months old, he is a sweet and loving puppy. He listens well and just wants to play with humans and dogs. He loves to hop up and snuggle and kiss and just generally lay on you. SVPP is treating Diego's limp which seems to be an old injury. Unfortunately due to this injury Diego will likely not be a hiking buddy or able to take long extended walks.
