Her back legs and hips are pretty darn weak and stiff. She needs help getting up at times, but she loves her walks — doesn’t need to go far but walks are real good for her. Her forever adopter needs to have a home with very few steps or stairs — a lovely deck out in the sun would be wonderful. Not for an active household. She might do great in a home with another older dog — where they can talk to each other about their medical woes and stuff.

Rosalie's ideal forever home would be a cat-free environment. Rosalie will do best in a home without small children. She has mastered her house-training etiquette. Rosalie is already spayed, and she has had all her shots.

Rosalie can be a little shy at first, but once she opens up she’s just the sweetest girl ever. She has been super cuddly with all of our volunteers, loving to roll over for belly rubs. She likes to wiggle that cute butt of hers right into your lap from some long pet sessions and dole out tons of kisses as a thank you. Rosalie, however, does not have good manners on a leash. She pulls very hard on her walks, and since she’s a very strong girl, she can be a lot to handle. She is reactive to other dogs when she is on a leash as well. She will need professional training in order to help her become her best cute self.

This poor girl was found running the streets after being hit by a car and had severe trauma to her eye. Thankfully the amazing shelter vets did surgery and removed it. She is now fully recovered and ready to find her special home. Waffle loves her person, and loves constant attention. She will gladly spend her day sitting in your lap. Due to her only having vision on her left side, she can be nervous with fast movements.

Oliver came with his friends Maddie and Jack Sparrow, after the owner of the sanctuary they were at sadly passed away. He's six years old but you'd never guess that. He's happy and playful, but still medium to low energy (very happy with only a 1-2 mile walk every day). He is a quiet guy and has great manners when you walk in the door, and then will go lie down quietly when you're busy (but always ready for more affection!) He is sensitive to being handled in certain areas and has a hard time sharing his food and toys so he will need an owner that is respectful of his boundaries; however h e gets along great with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. He'll be an awesome addition to any adult household who will shower him with love!

Don’t be fooled by his age. This guy has plenty of energy and loves to play and go for long walks. He is intelligent, sweet, and he loves toys but his favorite thing to do for fun is to play with foster Dad’s feet. He would love to have a backyard to roam around and keep himself busy. He now nicely warms up to strangers in a timely manner few sniffs and being ignored for few minutes), he did very well with other pet mom when foster parents went for vacation for two weeks, he lived there with other 11 dogs, house cats and feral cats which other foster mom brings in, in cold nights, and other guests. He loves to sit in the lap, loves a cuddle and simple pamper and has so much to offer back.
