Noise Pop announces 20th Street Block Party lineup, Y La Bamba and Con Brio headliningImage: 20th Street Block Party

Celebrated San Francisco music festival Noise Pop has been around since 1993, and their one-day spinoff the 20th Street Block Party dates back to 2013. Both were cancelled in 2020 for obvious reasons, but Noise Pop announced in late May that both would return

And now we have the lineup of performers for the 2021 20th Street Block Party, scheduled for Saturday, October 16. Your headliners are Y La Bamba and Con Brio, with supporting acts L.A. Witch, French Cassettes, Same Girls, King Isis, and Louda Y Los Bad Hombres.

It’s still technically a free festival, but much like with Stern Grove, advance registration is required. In other words, they will likely run out of spots and people will be begging for extras on social media. In this case, though, there will be a $59 VIP-style “Headliner Experience” promising a private lounge, viewing area, and complimentary drinks and food.

A food lineup is not yet announced, and it’s likely still coming together, considering that vendor applications are still open. Though we do see that White Claw is a sponsor, so that hard seltzer is likely to be served.

This year’s 20th Street Block party will serve as a benefit for learning nonprofit 826 Valencia.

The 20th Street Block Party is Saturday, October 16, Noon-6 p.m., at 20th and 19th Streets between Bryant and Harrison Streets. RSVP here.
