Quoc Le, a man who's been charged with fencing stolen electronics out of a Larkin Street boba tea shop, has been arrested for the third time in four years on similar charges. Former district attorneys Chesa Boudin and George Gascon have previously targeted Le, who was arrested yet again on May 18. District Attorney Brooke Jenkins's office confirms that Le has been charged with possession of stolen goods for the third time. His alleged modus operandi involves using his wife's Quickly boba tea shop as a front for an auto burglary ring, with stolen goods being shipped from the tea shop to Hong Kong and Vietnam. Le is currently being held without bail, facing up to 16 years in prison if convicted on all charges. The SFPD is still seeking tips and information in the case. Continue reading on SFist →
