At the 2023 Nightlife and Entertainment Summit, San Francisco's Mayor London Breed left nightclub owners feeling uneasy after she remarked that she couldn't name a good nightclub in the city. The summit is an annual event where industry professionals address the current issues facing the nightlife scene, making the comment all the more jarring for attendees.
