Daly City Homeless Man Steals from Hospital for 3 Days Found in Linen Cart

A 29-year-old homeless parolee, Kevin Monedo Santos, was caught and held by Daly City Police Department on charges related to multiple theft offenses at Seton Medical Center. He now faces burglary, grand theft, and ID theft charges for his actions during the three-day spree, where he allegedly broke into cars and offices at the medical center, stealing electronics before being apprehended by hospital security while hiding in a linen cart.

In an unfortunate and bizarre series of events, Santos managed to elude security for three days, brazenly targeting both employees and visitors of the hospital. The spree has raised concerns about security at the hospital, prompting questions about measures being taken to ensure that similar incidents don't occur in the future.

According to the details shared on Twitter by Henry Lee KTVU, Santos was caught by Seton Medical Center security after they found him hiding in a linen cart. He had been charged by the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office with burglary, grand theft, and ID theft for his alleged crimes during the three-day crime spree. It is not immediately clear if additional charges will be filed.

Seton Medical Center has yet to release a statement regarding the incident and the security measures put in place at their facility.
