It seems a Michelin-star team is stepping into the spotlight, with a new project in the works involving the acclaimed chef-owners of Marlena, David Fisher and Serena Chow Fisher, and the ever-expanding Hi Neighbor Hospitality Group. The Fishers, fresh off their first Michelin star win in their inaugural year, have apparently teamed up with Ryan Cole, Hi Neighbor's main man, for something currently known only as 7 Adams, located at 1963 Sutter Street in Japantown. The up-and-coming space is currently occupied by the neighborhood favorite, Gardenias, and though its owners have remained tight-lipped about any closure, it seems that change is in the air.
