With no jackpot winners for the Mega Millions, the prize has now snowballed to an estimated $720 million for the next drawing scheduled on Friday, NBC Bay Area reported. But the fortune-seeking frenzy doesn't stop there, as Wednesday night's Powerball draw boasts an impressive jackpot of $1 billion – one of the highest in U.S. history.
