The SFPD has made headway into the recent carjacking incident, culminating in an outrageous crash down the Sanchez Street steps in Castro. The viral video that captured the chaotic event led to bystanders rushing to the scene while the culprits fled.

Further investigations suggested a connection to a carjacking which occurred a few blocks away at 19th and Dolores streets. Two suspects, named as 36-year-old Kevin Nelson and 31-year-old Jennifer Bonham from San Francisco, have been arrested and booked on suspicion of carjacking, receiving a stolen vehicle, and conspiracy.
