Three suspects were arrested last Wednesday evening in a high-speed chace. In their attempts to evade law enforcement, suspects allegedly began to throw hundreds of bags of drugs out of their vehicle onto the roadway.

The suspects, identified as Shawn Daley, 18, and a 17-year-old minor of Hartford, Connecticut, and Lee Griffin, 41, of Brattleboro, Vermont, now find themselves in custody, as reported by the Recorder.

The chase itself reportedly exceeded speeds of 120 miles per hour, with the suspects operating erratically while hurling bags of suspected narcotics out of their vehicle. According to the Boston Globe, the suspects swerved directly at a cruiser during the chase. The pursuit eventually concluded in Bernardston, where the suspects abandoned their vehicle and fled into the woods before police captured them.

All three suspects are facing an array of charges, including trafficking cocaine and fentanyl, possession of a class B drug with intent to distribute, possession of a class A drug with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate drug law. Furthermore, Daley and Griffin have been charged with reckless endangerment to children, and Daley faces an additional charge of intimidation of a witness, as stated in another Recorder article.
