As Times of San Diego has reported, the tower is already 40% leased, and 25% occupied, an impressive achievement for a downtown project of this scale. This can perhaps be attributed to Radian's exclusive luxury offerings, which include top-quality living spaces paired with stunning views of the surrounding cityscape.
However, with such luxury comes a hefty price tag. The San Diego Union-Tribune states that Radian's average monthly rent is a staggering $4,733, making it one of the top 10 most expensive apartment buildings in San Diego County, where average rent is $2,429. Despite the high costs, the tower's leasing success suggests that the demand for high-end living experiences in Downtown San Diego shows no signs of waning.
Perhaps one of Radian's most distinctive features is the inclusion of a 36,000-square-foot urban Target store occupying the ground floor and basement level. Set to open in early 2024, as Times of San Diego mentioned, this development promises to further solidify Radian as a bustling hub for both residents and visitors alike.
Moreover, the building uniquely integrates the exterior of the Art Deco-style Farkas Store Fixtures building, paying homage to the neighborhood's rich history while propelling it forward towards a contemporary urban future.
