On Thursday, a recent arrest in Roxbury uncovered "trafficking amounts" of crystal meth and fentanyl existed in plain sight and in broad daylight.

The arrest occurred near  Atkinson Street and Bradston Street, where Boston PD was already conducting an ongoing drug investigation.

Charlene Hammond, a 47-year-old Boston resident, was apprehended by officers assigned to the Drug Control Unit of District B-2 (Roxbury) on drug trafficking charges.

According to a Boston Police Department's official release, officers confiscated approximately 75 grams of crystal meth, 28 grams of fentanyl, and 10 grams of crack cocaine from Hammond's tent.

The suspect also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
