
Last month, July 27, at arround 5:20 PM, a larceny occurred in downtown Boston, near 310 Boylston Street.
Authorities from the Boston Police Department (BPD) have released images of the suspect and requested the public's assistance in identifying the individual involved in this crime, according to their community alert.
The BPD provided a description of the suspect as a tall, heavy set, dark-complexioned female in her mid-20s with short curly hair wearing spandex shorts and crocs.
The individual is accused of stealing five purses, valued at approximately $15,000. Detectives assigned to District A-1 are actively reviewing the case and are urging anyone with information about the larceny to come forward.
The BPD is serious about protecting the identity of anyone who wishes to help with this investigation anonymously. Community members can call the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1 (800) 494-TIPS or text the word 'TIP' to CRIME (27463) to provide information about the case. The department will rigidly guard and protect the identities of those who wish to provide information in an anonymous manner.
