
Earlier today, the O'Neill Tunnel in Boston, became the scene of a multi-vehicle crash that left several injured and caused delays in and around the area. The incident, which occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m., involved at least three vehicles, one of which was turned sideways in the tunnel, according to NBC Boston.

The crash unfolded on Interstate 93 southbound inside the tunnel at Exit 17, the Government Center exit. Consequently, the two center lanes were temporarily shut down, but they reopened shortly after noon, as reported on MassDOT's Twitter. Emergency crews were quick to arrive on the scene to attend to the injured in an area the city's residents rely upon daily to navigate the bustling streets.
