
A multi-state police chase, which left several injured, finally reached its conclusion last night in Providence, Rhode Island. Beginning in Burrillville, Rhode Island, the chase crossed state lines into Massachusetts before ultimately ending back in Rhode Island in Providence, according to WHDH.
The pursuit, involving multiple law enforcement agencies from both states, eventually led to a critical shooting in the vicinity of Rhode Island Hospital.
The altercation resulted in the suspect critically injured, with two officers from the Providence Police Department sustaining injuries separate from a gunshot wound.
As of now, little is known regarding the nature of these injuries, as reported by WPRI.
According to WHDH, there were two other individuals in the car with the suspect at the time of the shooting. While one person's condition remains unknown, the other individual was reportedly injured.
