Yesterday, a tragic event occured with 61-year-old Herbert Christian Link Jr. from Plymouth, when he became the victim of a motorcycle crash in Wentworth, New Hampshire. According to NBC Boston, emergency crews responded to a single-motorcycle accident on East Side Road around 11:50 a.m.
Initial investigations revealed that Link may have been navigating a left turn when his Kawasaki motorcycle went down, ejecting him from his seat.
Tragically, despite life-saving measures performed at the scene, Link was pronounced dead at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, as reported by WMUR.
There were no passengers or other vehicles involved in the crash. However, authorities continue their efforts to uncover a better understanding of the incident. New Hampshire State Police Trooper Michael Bruno has been assigned to the case and urges any witnesses to come forward with information to aid the investigation, as multiple news sources have reported.
