Celebrate Agriculture and Family Fun at the 7th Annual Fall Festival in Martial Cottle Park, San JoseSource: County of Santa Clara

The 7th Annual Fall Festival will kick off at Martial Cottle Park on October 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in a celebration of fine weather and the area's agricultural history.

Held to connect the community with the finer aspects of its roots, the festival will boast diverse activities, arts, foods, and crafts. Young festival-goers can enjoy agricultural workshops, interactive activities, and animal shows. Meanwhile, adults can visit unique exhibits, listen to live music, and more. The SCCgov website also reveals that antique cars and farm equipment will be on showcase, allowing a glimpse into the past.

A range of food trucks will be scattered throughout the festival ground, offering a variety of snacks and treats for refueling attendees. Capturing memories, the pumpkin patch will provide an excellent backdrop for the family photos.

Despite that the event is free, parking is priced at $6 and availability is limited. To cope with this, attendees are advised by event organizers to use sustainable transportation. In fact, the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition's Group Ride is a recommended alternative, as pointed out on the SCCgov Twitter page. Free bike parking will also be provided at the event.
