On Sunday, October 22, a shooting took place at a retail business in the 1600 block of N. Wells in the 18th District of Chicago, leaving a 32-year-old male seriously injured.
The suspected perpetrator, 26-year-old Lamont Morris, was arrested an hour after the incident and has been charged with a felony count of aggravated UUW/LOADED - NO FOID, as stated by the Chicago Police Department.
The detention hearing for Morris is set today at the 2600 S. California courthouse.
