A KRON4 report confirms that police responded to a shooting at 18th and Mission Streets at 1:58 a.m. The officers discovered a man with gunshot wounds and provided initial aid before paramedics arrived. Despite emergency responders' efforts, the man died in the hospital.
Authorities are yet to reveal any substantial leads in, the ongoing investigation. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed, as they are waiting for the San Francisco medical examiner to notify his next-of-kin.
