On October 13, District Attorney Brooke Jenkins issued charges against Lloyd Gage (33) from Fremont and Jacquez Tucker (32) from San Francisco related to a spree of violent armed robberies in San Francisco's Mission District. Occurring from September 26 to October 4, both men plead not guilty to dozens of felony counts and various allegations, including the personal use of a firearm, according to the San Francisco District Attorney report.

As per a Hoodline report, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) apprehended Gage and Tucker without any mishaps on October 4. The suspects allegedly forced victims onto the floor, herded them into back rooms at gunpoint, and robbed cash, wares, and even ATMs, in some cases resorting to pistol-whipping the victims. The SFPD operation required deploying multiple units and conducting surveillance to quickly and effectively apprehend the duo. Searches of Tucker's residence unveiled stolen merchandise, the clothing worn during the robberies, and the firearms used.

DA Jenkins made a statement affirming that "Violent, egregious, brazen criminal conduct will be vigorously prosecuted in San Francisco," reaffirming the city's commitment to tackling crime.

While charges have been filed, the investigation is still active. San Francisco Police Department urges anyone with information to reach out to their Tip Line at 1-415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 beginning the text message with SFPD. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
