Yesterday, an incident occurred in the area between A Street and Cavallo Road in Antioch. Local law enforcement and paramedics responded to a report of a deceased individual on the railroad tracks, per the Antioch Police Department.
At the scene, they discovered a 43-year-old male from Antioch who, fatally, had been shot. Paramedics on the scene pronounced him dead. As news of this incident surfaced, Antioch Police Detectives began looking into the circumstances leading to this sudden demise.
Authorities have yet to release the victim's name out of consideration for his family.
