The first incident occurred on the 3100 block of W Armitage Ave, where an unidentified male perpetrator entered a business, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from the cash register, as detailed by the Chicago Police Department (CPD). After committing the robbery, the assailant fled the scene, resulting in an ongoing investigation by Area Five detectives1.
The second event involved a 51-year-old male victim on the 2800 block of E. 78th St. He was approached and assaulted by an armed assailant who then proceeded to steal his belongings. The offender remains at large, and the case is currently being investigated by Area Two detectives.
A third incident involved a 56-year-old man being targeted by a group of assailants on the 1900 block of E. 95th St. The victim was approached by a vehicle from which four unidentified individuals emerged, demanding his property while flashing their firearms, as reported by the CPD. The victim was then assaulted, and his belongings were stolen. The assailants managed to flee the scene.
