A hit-and-run that claimed the life of an 86-year-old man, with Concord Police Department appealing for witnesses to the shocking incident. In a macabre twist of fate on the eve of Thanksgiving, the collision occurred at approximately 6:49 p.m. at Oak Grove Road and Treat Blvd., before culminating in a second, fatal crash at the nearby junction of Oak Grove Road and Ryan Road, according to the Concord Police Department's press release on Facebook.
