The San Francisco Police Department is turning to the community in an urgent appeal for assistance in tracking down Minh Hy Thai, a septuagenarian whose disappearance has raised concerns due to his medical vulnerabilities. Thai, a 79-year-old man with a slim build and gray hair, was last witnessed on Monday in the vicinity of the 500 block of Parnassus Ave according to a news release published by the San Francisco Police Department.
In a detailed description aimed at aiding search efforts, the SFPD outlined that Thai stands at 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds, and carries the particularity of brown eyes shaded beneath a distinctive red baseball cap adorned with a dragon motif. Authorities also report that he uses a crutch with his right arm.
The police have released a photograph to accompany their plea, hoping that visibility might yield the swift safekeeping of Mr. Thai.
