
Today, the San Francisco Police Department apprehended four people tied to a series of retail crimes, which are a concern for city retailers given their frequency and their violent nature. The reported crimes involve large-scale merchandise theft and occasional harm to store workers.
The SFPD's announcement indicates that the subjects—Savannah Church, Shalia Brown, Erykah Thomas, and Emoni Thomas—were linked to over 12 retail incidents. Booking these perpetrators involved a combination, of efforts by the SFPD General Work and Burglary unit investigators, patrol officers, and the San Francisco Sheriff's Office Warrant Service Unit.

The series of incidents occurred between April and September this year. The suspects engaged in various criminal activities ranging from theft, robbery, and launching attacks on store personnel.
