
On October 31, a 55-year-old female from Vallejo was arrested for petty theft in the unit block of Colma Boulevard. The Colma Police Department reported that the female suspect was apprehended when attempting to flee the scene on foot after reportedly stealing merchandise from a local business.
Officers quickly responded to the incident, detaining a woman who matched the description provided by the loss prevention team at the business. Upon verification of her identity, the suspect was arrested.
A routine search revealed her to be in possession of both drug paraphernalia and burglary tools. The value of the stolen merchandise was estimated to be $717.22.
The suspect was charged with petty theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of burglary tools following her arrest. She was then issued a citation and released, contingent on her promise to attend her court date. The stolen items were promptly returned to the business in question.
