The weekend forecast is looking sunny for tomorrow, with highs anticipated to reach 62 degrees and a southeast wind continuing its gentle push. But don't split your plans just yet—tomorrow night temperatures are predicted to cool down to a low of 43 degrees under partly cloudy skies. December 24, however, introduces more variability, with partly sunny conditions early on and a high near 64 degrees. Rain is set to make an appearance on December 24 with a 60 percent chance of showers after 1 a.m.
National Weather Service reports that Christmas Day in Atlanta may be less than ideal for outdoor festivities, bringing showers and possibly a thunderstorm with an unwelcome 90 percent chance of precipitation. December 26's forecast suggests a 20 percent chance of rain before the early hours and a declining temperature to a low of around 41 degrees.
The December 27 weather forecast offers a break from the showers with partly sunny skies and a daytime high peaking at 54 degrees. Nonetheless, clouds are expected to gather again at night, setting the low at 39 degrees. As for December 28, Atlanta can look forward to a partly sunny day with highs around 52, indicating a slight drop from the warmer trend experienced earlier in the week.
