The San Antonio Spurs cut the ribbon on Frost Plaza, a new hangout spot right in the heart of the Rock at La Cantera campus. As FOX San Antonio reports, the Sunday ribbon-cutting includes snow globe crafting sessions and lawn game face-offs, capped with a side of cookie decorating.

Manu Ginobili, a Spurs legend who calls South Central Texas home, was there to spiel the festivities. "It's fantastic," Ginobili gushed according to a KSAT interview, adding, “Many times, the only place to be close to the Spurs is at the games, and this will make another space in which you can be close and celebrate, and the community can gather to watch a game.”

The opening tips off the first phase of The Rock at La Cantera, a strategic play that began a decade ago and includes the freshly minted Victory Capital Performance Center.

Chairman of Spurs Sports & Entertainment Peter J. Holt couldn't veil his eagerness. “The opening up of it and the journey and the amount of experiences that I think will happen here, both on this court and around it, is the most exciting for me,” he beamed, as mentioned by KSAT.
