The 2024 Community Connections Conference is gearing up to open its doors with a tempting offer of complimentary transport courtesy of Metro Transit. Attendees can snag free rides to the Minneapolis Convention Center on Feb. 17 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.—just download the pass, display it on your mobile device or print it out, and show it to the driver or fare inspector.
You can count on a jam-packed schedule of workshops, performances, and much more. The event, starting bright and early at 9 a.m. with registration and exhibit hall browsing, promises to quicken to connect attendees with vital city services, community groups, and institutions. Care to pre-register? You can to easily do that online or prepare to do it in person with help available in multiple languages come conference day. The bonus? The conference is teaming up with the 2024 Green Zone Summit for an added focus on environmental justice, as confirmed by a bulletin released by the City of Minneapolis.

Scheduled events begin with an opening ceremony at 10 a.m., followed by sessions to engage minds from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Lunch is squeezed in from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. before the community dialogue kicks off at 2 p.m., wrapping up with closing remarks at 3:45 p.m.
