According to the Chicago Police Department, Ross has been slapped with one felony count of first-degree attempted murder, one felony count of aggravated battery with a firearm, and one felony count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

Ross was pinpointed as the alleged assailant in a shooting that left a 40-year-old woman seriously injured. Authorities managed to apprehend Ross just shy of three days ago, at approximately 8:56 p.m. on the 6600 block of S. Drexel Ave. The victim was shot minutes earlier in the 6500 block of S. Langley—not far from where Ross was taken into police custody. The detention hearing took place today at the Cook County Criminal Courthouse on 2600 S. California.
