As the city wakes up to a cooler-than-usual morning, locals can expect to steadily climb out of the chill. NBC 6 Miami reports the day ahead will be cool, with temperatures inching towards 70 degrees. Despite the chilly start, Miami's weather appears to remain below average both day and night.
This pattern of cooler weather is poised to stick around for the start of the week. According to the National Weather Service, Monday will bring a partly sunny sky with breezy conditions, as Miami locals can expect to gradually warm up, with forecasted highs near 73 and breezy easterly winds.
In the evenings, temperatures are predicted to hover in the low to mid-60s under mostly cloudy skies. The expected east sea breeze winds will present locals with a consistent breeze throughout the night, potentially reaching up to 23 mph, the National Weather Service advises.
As the week progresses, temperatures will rise, and by Wednesday, the city should experience partly sunny skies with highs nearing 79 degrees. NBC 6 Miami warns that despite low rain chances, the persistent winds are expected to create choppy beach conditions, cautioning that gusts could surpass 25 mph at times.
Miami residents can look forward to a gradual return to more typical weather by the end of the week, as temperatures are forecasted to peak at about 81 degrees under mostly sunny skies by Saturday.
