San Ramon Police Department cracked down on a duo accused of sweeping Ulta Beauty clean of a large merchandise haul. The swift-footed cops were tipped off about a vehicle linked to a spate of thefts. Upon arrival, officers found the suspect's vehicle parked ominously outside the beauty store. The timing couldn't have been more impeccable as they caught the alleged thieves red-handed, coming out of Ulta with stolen goods.
It was revealed by the police that, in a bid to confront adeptly, officers took no time approaching the vehicle as its occupants were leaving the store. It wasn't long before the officers discovered the duo had seemingly just completed their illicit shopping spree, making off with a bumper stash of beauty products. Their getaway vehicle didn't fare any better in the legality department. It was confirmed to have been stolen, adding to their list of alleged crimes.
San Ramon's finest hauled the accused to the Martinez Detention Facility where they face felony charges. In a display of efficient police work, the recovered vehicle and merchandise were swiftly returned to the rightful owners. According to the San Ramon Police Department's Facebook page, the officers' "pro-active work" was a robust barrier against the ever-looming shadow of crime lurking in the corners of retail businesses.
