University of Arizona Law Introduces New Health Law & Policy Undergraduate Certificate ProgramSource: The University of Arizona Website

The University of Arizona Law is beefing up its educational offerings with a brand-new Health Law & Policy Undergraduate Certificate program set to launch this spring. This fresh academic credential, available to all University of Arizona undergrads, is tailor-made for those looking to steer through the ever-complex healthcare industry.

According to a recent announcement, the program has already caught a wave of interest from students across various fields from health sciences to business. “We saw a demonstrable interest in health law among undergraduates across a vast range of disciplines in the health sciences, humanities, business, and engineering, who are located across the country,”  Tara Sklar, director of the Health Law & Policy Program at the University of Arizona Law, acknowledged.

The program's flexible online format means students can cherry-pick any four courses from the 15-course roster to scoop up the certificate. It's a potentially plum add-on for resumes and transcripts in a field where legal savvy is increasingly part of the job description.

Not to be outdone, the graduate front at the University of Arizona Law is riding its high wave, courtesy of two new online graduate certificates in health law launched in partnership with the UA College of Pharmacy and the Critical Path Institute. These programs are designed to dump a truckload of specialized legal knowledge on folks already trudging through the trenches of the healthcare industry. “There is a large and growing need for current and future pharmaceutical and medical device professionals, regulators, business leaders, and scientists to have specialized training in translating research into new interventions for safe and effective medical products,” Sklar pointed out in a previous statement.

Those hesitating at the threshold of either program can reach out for more information or begin the enrollment process at [email protected], before these opportunities zip by.
