
A man has died following a brutal assault on Ammunition Road in Fallbrook, with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department confirming the victim's death late Sunday night.
Humberto Melecio, 32, was discovered by deputies, called to the scene at around 8:42 p.m. due to an assault with a deadly weapon report. Upon arrival, they found Melecio with a critical gunshot wound to the leg.
