A man was fatally struck by a Tri-Rail train in Fort Lauderdale, authorities confirmed today. The incident occurred near the commuter rail station located at 200 SW 21st Terrace, close to Broward Boulevard and Interstate 95, just after 10 a.m.
Officials with the Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue reported to the scene alongside the CSX tracks following the tragic incident. The pedestrian, identified only as an adult male, was pronounced dead at the location of the accident, According to WSVN.
