A man has died after being found with a gunshot wound in the middle of a street on San Antonio's northwest side, authorities confirmed. The San Antonio Police Department reported the incident occurred around 10 a.m. Thursday on the 1400 block of Ridgewood CT. The victim, discovered with a wound to the chest, was later pronounced dead, as per a report by KENS5.
Officials have disclosed little information on the shooting, noting that no one witnessed the actual event. However, a vehicle was reportedly seen driving away from the scene, described only as a "generic" car, KENS5 details. The deceased male's identity remains unreleased pending notification of family.
