
Violence erupted in a Northwest Miami-Dade neighborhood, leaving a local resident critical after an early morning shooting today. Miami-Dade Police responded to a call near the 700 block of Northwest 95th Street, as reported by WSVN.
According to authorities, the incident unfolded shortly before 4 a.m., two assailants believed to be acquainted with the victim forced entry into the apartment, and unleashed a barrage of bullets. The victim, sustaining multiple gunshot wounds, now fights for life at Ryder Trauma Center. In the aftermath, the gunmen seized personal belongings and vanished into the cover of darkness, as detailed by CBS Miami.
The search for the two suspects continues. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews were the ones who transported the victim to the trauma center, where their condition remains dire.
