
Tragedy struck Saint Paul's North End late Wednesday night when a male victim was fatally stabbed in an apartment complex. The Saint Paul police officers received the call just after 10:30 p.m. and promptly descended upon the scene at the 1300 block of Western Avenue North. Upon arrival, they found the victim with a critical stab wound. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Regions Hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries.
An adult female, who was in the apartment during the incident, has been taken into custody and is currently undergoing questioning at the Saint Paul Police Headquarters. Meanwhile, the forensic services unit is at the location looking for evidence that could shed light on the circumstances surrounding the fatal altercation.

According to the release on the Saint Paul government website, the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy to both identify the victim and determine the exact cause of his death.
