Ford Motor Co. has signed on as the title sponsor for the LPGA Tour event in the Phoenix area, now named the Ford Championship presented by KCC, as reported by the Phoenix Business Journal. The tournament, boasting a $2 million purse, is set to unfurl at the Seville Golf and Country Club in Gilbert from March 28 to March 31.

The partnership sets the stage for the upcoming Carlisle Arizona Women's Golf Classic at TPC Scottsdale's Champions Course in May, further cementing Arizona's rich legacy in the sport of women's golf since the LPGA Tour began in 1950.
