A chaotic scene emerged on the I-10 near 19th Avenue in central Phoenix late Saturday night after a driver, reportedly going the wrong way, caused a three-car collision. Troopers found three vehicles badly damaged upon arrival, with reports suggesting that the crash was initiated by a driver heading west in the east lanes. In what seems to to clearly have been a moment of desperation, one individual fled the crash site but was later detained by authorities after jumping from the freeway, as per DPS information.
