An Aloha man was arrested and faces charges of sexual abuse after a woman reported an encounter that turned inappropriate at his home, where she had gone in response to a Craiglist ad for a housekeeper. According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred Friday, March 15, when 55-year-old Jimmy Jen Liu allegedly grabbed the victim’s bare feet and rubbed them on his face without her consent.
The woman swiftly left the premise and contacted the authorities. During their investigation, deputies learned of a similar complaint lodged against Liu, dating back to February 2024, by another woman who also visited his Aloha residence for a housekeeping job. Following these allegations, Liu was arrested at his home and booked into the Washington County Jail.
Liu faced a judge yesterday where he was arraigned on charges including harassment and sexual abuse in the third degree, with additional counts of attempted sexual abuse in the third degree and attempted harassment being added, according to a press release from the Sheriff's Office.
Investigators have revealed that Liu had been placing ads online for a housekeeper since at least 2017 and that he also offered math tutoring services to children, raising concerns about further potential misconduct. Liu’s extensive activity on social media platforms, including Craigslist, where he solicited for housekeeping and tutelage services, has been a focal point of ongoing police investigations.
