Waterline Ventures, with its focus on early-stage healthcare technology companies, led the round, though the amount remains undisclosed. DocNow, launched by Dr. Kashif Saeed who recognized the inefficiencies plaguing post-acute care systems during his medical fellowship, envisions a streamlined approach to managing workflow and patient data.
The startup claims integration capabilities with multiple existing medical record platforms, which is a standout feature alongside their wound care management services. Offering a mobile app for practitioners in the field, DocNow enables quickcapture of images and data related to patient wounds, directly syncing with electronic health records. With approximately 2,000 long-term care facilities in partnership, this funding is poised to solidify DocNow's footprint in the healthcare tech scene, according to GeekWire.
