The Illinois State Fair is kicking it into high gear for its 2024 Grandstand lineup, signing on a mix of award-winning veterans and country chart-toppers sure to draw massive crowds. After last year's record attendance, with more than 700,000 visitors, the fair is upping the ante with the latest addition of country superstar Keith Urban, as reported by NBC Chicago.
Urban is set to strum his way onto the stage on August 9, and ticket frenzy is expected to commence at 10 a.m. this Saturday. He'll be in good company with legends of rock Mötley Crüe, and noted country acts Jason Isbell and Jordan Davis already revealed as part of the stellar lineup. Plus, the fair will reveal additional headliners at a later date, ensuring the 2024 fair is as eclectic as it is electrifying, according to NBC Chicago.
Joining the ranks of Urban and company will be four-time Grammy winner Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, supported by the critically acclaimed Ashley McBryde. Isbell's performance, featuring tales that resonated from car stereos to concert halls, will take place on August 11, according to Q985 Online. Fans eager for the fusion of heartfelt lyrics and rocking melodies can snag tickets for Isbell and the 400 Unit, which went on sale February 3.
